Botched is a show about fixing surgeries that have gone wrong. The show features patients with warped noses, “uniboobs,” bad butt implants, and body dysmorphic disorder.

The photo preoperatively on the left demonstrates a patient who underwent a breast augmentation by another surgeon who put both implants outside the lower margins of the breast. If you look closely you can see that the breast implants are falling down her abdomen. The arrow points to what we call bottoming out deformity. If you look even closer you can see that the skin over the breastbone is lifted and she has what is called a synmastia. Due to the prolonged nature of this problem the skin on the bottom when repaired would no longer sit properly on the body. The skin grew over time is now extra, and will not lay flat. This patient was told preoperatively that this extra skin would need to be excised and she would have as car under both breasts. The scar fades over two years. Dr. Gray corrected the botched procedure.
