Sculptra Butt “Lift”: Overview
A sculptra Butt “lift” is similar to the Brazilian Butt “lift” using Sculptra instead of fat. When a patient has no fat to transfer or prefers to not undergo Liposuction to obtain fat for the filler a NEW. Procedure using Sculptra is available.
Although not yet approved by the FDA. For use in the buttocks many thousands women in Europe and now the United States are seeking Sculptra as an alternative procedure.
Sculptra Used throughout Europe under the name of New-Fill™ since 1999, Sculptra® is an injectable treatment made from polylactic (also referred to as poly-L-lactic) acid that was FDA approved in August 2004 for the treatment of facial lipoatrophy (facial wasting).
Sculptra Butt “Lift”: Procedure
The injections can be performed under local anesthesia with only minor discomfort as typical with any injectable filler. Typically patients require 5-10 vials with up to four treatment sessions ( 20 to 40 vials ). The treatments can be scheduled as close as three weeks apart. Costs average 600-900 per vial.
The benefits can last a few years, results vary between patients.
